How many batteries will be good?

So I am gonna be running a RD HW 9.0 amp @ 1ohm. My intentions were to get 6 deka batteries. After looking over how my install is gonna go I might have to drop down to 3 deka batteries so I have enough space for the box. Will 3 batteries be enough? Also what kind of difference would I see in voltage if lets say I get 3 PM D3100's compared to 3 Deka's

3 G31 batts would be fine with ur HO alt at 1ohm. MOre the better but if ur limited to 3 i wouldn't worry about it.

Ya just the thing is with this setup I was tryin not to dip below 13v.

Ah gotcha.. Look into a MLA module with a setpoint of 15v+ Thats what i plan on doing.

Ya I was thinking the same. But for the same 150 dollars I can get my alt regulator so I can adjust it to whatever I need //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Does (3) include the one under the hood?

I burped my soundstream @ 0.5 ohm on my stock alt and 2 kinetic's, voltage went into the 10's
