How low can it go?!

I see all these 6.5" builds and wonder to myself whats the lower end like? I know its not always size but these seem awefully small to play low(30-35hz) with authority? I love the idea but it seems the same results could be accomplished a bit easier with a solid pair of 10's? I understand the draw to the smaller woofer, front firing underseat in a truck but are they going to be THAT much better than a solid 10 or pair of 10's up or down firing?
