How Loud Should It Get?!

Aight, Listen,

I have a 98 F150 and just hooked up 2 Audiobahn 1006T's to a Hifonics Brutus B1605 in MTX Thunderform with 4 gauge wiring on the amp. It seems like it's not getting as loud as it should. I know that it's running less than the total RMS of the subs but it should still be able to do some damage. Anyhow the questions are...

1. How loud should this thing get?(not really lookin at numbers just in your own words)

2. Why exactly does it sound so much cleaner and louder in the low's when I open my doors

3. With this kind of draw on my batt. should I get a capacitor or something of the sort

Feel free to answer just one or all three of the ?'s or just give me your 2 cents. Willing to listen!

1. that box is probably not helping ya at all but i dunno

2. because you turned your sealed cab to a ported cab which in turn puts out more bass.

3.you shouldn't have any harmful draw on your batt.

there thin plastic and small. the plastic flex's and the air space in there is not good. if you need new boxes i have some for sale in my sig that wont loose you any leg room. but otherwise you need new subs and a box defentily

any other opinions? what do you pepole have to say about this(nothin against against ya rocky, just want to know what people have to say)

I've got my gain set at about 70%, subsonic filter 30, lowpass 45-50(I think). It's hard to explain, I figured it would have more "boom" so to speak. Cuz i can turn it up quite a bit and the subs are thumpin hard but theres not alot of bass being produced. Oh and the bass on the head unit is set a little above normal. Just curious about this one... how much of a difference does a quality head unit make?

the box is 1.8 so I just assumed a little displacement would bring it down to 1.5 cubic shared, sealed. Audiobahn says .5-1 ft3. So, .75 should be alright. does it make a difference when theyre shared? (and BTW the amp is a BX1605D Just wanted to get that straight it was botherin me)
