how long till a battery(kinetik) goes bad?

well i just shipped off my colossus and i had a kinetik 1800 in the back, i dont want to leave it in because it moves around a litttle, i dont want it to short out or something. is it ok to just let it sit? i dont know when i'll be getting another amp, how long till it goes bad? right now it reads 12.9.

A charger will help them if they have to sit to long.

Just a 2amp trickle over night will do wonders.

it will be fine, no need to worry

although if being stored for long periods of time (6 months or more), it is recommended that you use a Kinetik Power Cell Maintainer specifically designed to keep the power cell conditioned for its maximum life. Kinetik Power Cells hold a charge much better than conventional batteries when not in use.

thats the thing it most likely will be more than six months, and when i do buy and amp or i'm thinking amps, i will need something stronger, probably a 2400
