How long should I "break in" my sub?

I have just installed a jl 12w7 in a sealed fiberglass box. I have done some reading and haven't been able to come up with a solid answer. How long should I break it in, and how exactly?

lol...put full power to it and turn up the volume. fyi u dont have to "break in a subwoofer". some use the term that the subwoofer has been broken in which mean the suspension has loosened up.
