How is this sub?

Crunch Powerzone PZN12

just bought it and have it hooked up to a HiFonics Zeus 600w Amp and it sounds pretty good...but how is the sub? is there something better I should replace it with? or is it good for now?

It sounds pretty good, I'm just thinking down the road. I listen to alot of reggae/rock music that have heavy bass like Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, etc. but I also dip into rap and metal so I'm kind of all over the place when it comes to music.

The car is an '88 Mustang 'vert with very limited trunk space...

would a 12" JL w3 or even w0 be better in its place or a Kicker of some sort? what sub would you guys suggest for under $150??

Yes the JL's would be better.

a 12 w0 or w3 is very shallow so it will fit in your trunk and give you good solid bass.
