How is this amp?!

I am thinking about purchasing this amp, a rockford fosgate RF X7.A 1500W mono. Is this amp any good, i can get it for around $220/250. I've heard that the rockfords have gone down in quality in the last few years. I want to power a kicker 12" L5, dual 4 ohms. So will this work or not or is it even worth getting? Its a solid amp, but if you get it you better watch your gains.

wait you're getting that for a single L5 if so that just a bit of overkill...two or three L5s makes more sense...but from what ive read that amp is quite sexy.

The reason i'm getting this for a single L5 is for upgradability options for the future, i want to upgrade like in a couple of months when i have enought money... maybe to two L7's..

yea its fine just really watch your gains. and make sure no boost of any kind.
