How in the flying **** did Dark Knight oust The Godfather on IMDB?

What's wrong with it?
The fact Pixar can make two animated robots express more emotion and thoughts than half the actors out there can right now? Or the multiple references to many pieces of literature and previous movies? And just an overall nice story to boot.

I just dont see it on top 25

Fair enough. I didn't mean to be a dick, if I was. It was a very good movie, far above what most animated movies give you. Have you seen it?

And once again, Pixar shows everyone else in the industry how to do CG.

I liked Monsters Inc. alot //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Top 100 sure. Maybe Top 50. Some of it was a bit repetitive, but I still really liked it.

Heath Ledger's Joker was one of the best performances I've seen in a long while. Don't remember the last time I saw an actor that immersed in his character. I wouldn't be surprised if it unhinged him a bit and sent him over the edge.

I'm just wondering what will happen with the next one. I'm hoping Johnny Depp as the Riddler. Or maybe Edward Norton although he's already the Hulk

Cartoon CG is much different than trying to make CG fit into a real environment. Definitely a LOT of talented people though.

But Ratatouille kicks Wall-E's *** for Pixar movies

I meant animated film industry. I.E, dreamworks and squaresoft.

I haven't seen Ratatouille, but I heard it was pretty good.

I just really liked the way Wall-E progressed and felt. Great atmosphere, and the amount of character displayed by the beeps and facial expressions was astounding. I actually wanted to see the outcome. The pop culture references were kept to a minimal, but were easily understood by anyone. I especially liked the Rubik's cube spot.

Plus, the way the lights reflected off EVE's...body? chassis? when she was in Wall-E's house was spectacular. Reflected and distorted and followed the curve exactly as it should.

Edward Norton has seemed to be in similar roles throughout his career. Not that they were bad, but don't really seem to fit the Joker. It would be a different path. I could see Depp pulling it off. He got the body language of a drunken pirate down pretty well, and the Joker's body language was a HUGE thing in his presence. Now if he can pull off the rest is up in the air. He has played in some dark, disturbing parts. So, maybe.

Riddler, not joker. Can't replace Ledger

I always thought that Johnny Depp would be an awesome Joker or Riddler

best actor out there along with Spacey, DeNiro, Pacino and Paul Walker

They're going to have to, somehow.

It's like Superman without Lex Luthor, or the Justice League without the Legion of Doom. Batman will inevitably need the Joker.

Ledger deserves every accolade he or his family are getting for this role. No one is saying "replace" in a negative tone. But Ledger's performance has every possibility of being trumped just as well as Nicholson's did. Hell, did anyone even think Ledger could do it? I didn't know who Heath ledger was. And when I was reminded of his roles after the fact, I simply thought "oh". This was his breakout movie, and it was tragically his last. Does that mean his Joker should be the only one we get to experience?
