He played his role perfectly. In fact, it was quite possibly the best acting in an action movie I've ever seen. There is no other word for it besides flawless. Now, had they cut the last hour of the movie off, they might've saved the entire film. Instead, they had to bring in 2 face in the same movie and SOMEHOW make him turn against society in a matter of seconds. Wat the fck?

You know what, I didn't think about that angle originally, but it's true. The RUSHED nature of that change was a big part of what made that movie feel sloppy.

What's wrong with it?
The fact Pixar can make two animated robots express more emotion and thoughts than half the actors out there can right now? Or the multiple references to many pieces of literature and previous movies? And just an overall nice story to boot.

Yeah, that movie surprised me too. I thought it was very well executed.

Although, I really started to hate hearing "EVA!!!!!!!!" "WALLY!!!!!!" six hundred times an hour.

I didn't like Wall-E, either. Ratatouille, on the other hand, was extremely good. Definitely one of Pixar's better movies, although like all animated films it gains more critical acclaim because it appeals to an extremely wide base.

I still think equilibrium > the dark knight.. and they are both hero type movies with bale.

Holy ****, it doesn't even compare. Opening scene shooting in the darkness is what made Bale the best action star of this generation.

Your probably the only one that thinks that about the dark knight. I couldn't believe the action in that movie. Plus, all the critics have said its the best movie they've seen in several years! Hands down.
