How important is a good engagement ring?

My ring was $300 and has a big burn mark on it where I accidentally hit my battery post while doing the big 3, I told her its symbolic that we still have our spark lol

Guys, do you feel the need to go all out and spend thousands on an engagement ring to please the girl?

Ladies, does the ring or amount spend actually increase how much love you feel for your man? do you care about size of the ring? I don't think size is an issue, as long as it fits your finger, right? But my gf don't think so. The other day, I bought this diamond ring for her. Who knows, she said it not big enough.

I am not that rich guy,so weird thing....

Get rid of her... double time...

I don't think it matters at all. my girl picked out her own ring, I told her a limit of $1k. She finds a "lab created" diamond ring, three stone, princess cut, /75 ct. for like $50 on the internet and loves the **** out of it!
