How GOOD will this sub x amp go together? & how will it sound?

1 12" Alpine Type X wired at 2 ohmMRP-M1000

I can get the sub for $280, and the amp for a good price as well.

Im not too familiar with car audio, just thought I'd ask people who know more about it.

Help is appreciated.

Type X can be had for much cheaper if you just look around. I paid 130 shipped for mine off these forums.
