How good are the DS18 12 inch Select Series woofers?

It's a very cheap 12 inch that looks to have a nice bit of excursion capabilities given the appearance of that beautiful surround (for the price)

However, I can't find ANY videos on it ANYWHERE on the internet. I've found only a few Youtube videos of people playing the speakers, but they are very short and severely under-power it.

Is it because it's a new product?

Has anybody else ever had experience with this product? Ever had one?

Also for those looking to buy this subwoofer, I already purchased it. I'll be the 1st man on planet Earth to upload a high quality vid of these subs playing at their proper power requirements, if you are interested.

did you see how big the terminals are in comparison to the plastic shroud around the magnet? Pass at any price bud. Pass even if they were free. Scratch that, if theyre free, take em and sell em to someone you hate for $50 for the pair, then laugh when you have a bit of money to aid in the purchase of a worthwhile sub.

2 of these 10s would likely destroy 2 of those 12s

if you can, return it. I seriously doubt that youll be happy with it

did u play those lanzars? ported? i like their coax and have a set of 5.25 in door out door book shelf speakers they have something stupid like a 50oz magnet on them (been along time since i seen specs) but they 10x heavier than they look, play mighty deep for tiny speaker..

they arent box picky. The neighbor had them in prefabs and custom both got pretty loud, the custom played lower. Easily high 130 db on a pair of 12s a cheap performance teknique amps. They play pretty deep, has an american bass-ish sound signature

yeah the ab resemble don't shock me, look at ab amp and a lanzar amp at least some of the outside even the names on the amps look all most the same but don't wanta get shot for saying it..

No, I ended up cancelling the order. I got a Orion Cobalt instead which has been working just fine.
