How does this box look? 2 cuft @ 32hz

I made this box on RE's site. It is the desired dimensions and tuning I want. Just want to make sure everything checks out. I have the sub in my signature. Fi recommends 12-16 square inches of vent area per cubic foot of volume.
 The calculator says 29 which is 14.5 height x 2 width. Is this how vent area is normally calculated? I'm not sure because I have never calculated it before.

Anyways please let me know if this box should be fine. I don't want to make any mistakes making my box. Also, I could manipulate the box shape if need be. Is there any benefit or downfall of a square box over a rectangular box? I wouldn't think so but I figured it was worth asking.

Hmmmm, I got ~2.61ft^3 before port displacement, and ~1.95ft^3 afterward. Not to mention your sub it going to take up another .1-.2ft^3 depending on the sub(assuming this is for a single 12" sub).

The only thing I don't like about those box plans is that they do not account for any kind of bracing or sub displacement. In most cases that'll drop box size down a few tenths and raise tuning 2-3hz.

Well if that's the case I could go with the 2@30hz or 2@31hz design I suppose. What do you think?

Well, upon further inspection they do give you an extra .15ft^3 or so for sub displacement, so it should be really close to what's advertised.
