How do you wire 2 4Ohm DVC Subs into a 2Ohm mono load?

I'm re-posting this because the original title sucked. I have 2 12" Alpine Type-R 4Ohm DVC subs and a Fosgate BD1500.1 amp. I have no problem hooking up the subs into a 4Ohm load, but I can't figure a way in hell of wiring them into a 2 Ohm load. Any help would be appreciated, because considering the relative simplicity of the question, I really feel like a dipsh!t not being able to figure out how to do it.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

You can only really wire them in a 4ohm or 1ohm set up. If you want to be able to run two dvc subs into a 2ohm load it owuld be best to get 2 or 8ohm dvc subs. Sorry man

No he will still end up with a 4ohm load.

Heres what I would do in your situation, I would wire the subs in parrallel, making each sub 2 ohms, then I would run the speaker wire from your amp to one of your subs terminals, then run wire out of THAT terminal into the other terminal.....I had to do that for a little whle with my subs when I was borrowing a friends amp before I got mine, but Ive got a punch 500s now so I just run it in 2 ohm stereo

Running subs in a sterep load is not necessarily the "prime" or suggested way to run them. Two different signals to two different subs can tend to cancel out certain frequencies and lose out a bit. Runnign them in a mono load is best and suggested.
