Okay, extremely noob question here, but:

I'm working on my friends car, and i'm not sure how to correctly put 0ga power wire into the power inputs on the amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

How are they supposed to fit in? It seems on his amp (zx1000) the terminal is much too small to fit 1/0 into. Am I missing something here? Iv'e only used amps that have spade terminal inputs before //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif.

Thanks!

haha, I know that's what I was doing but I thought there would be a way to fit the whole wire in in it's "natural" configuration since kicker recommends using 1/0 with the amp :p

If its a 4 gauge input..use a reducer..I trimmed mine at first but it was so ugly and way higher chance of the ground and power touching so i ordered some reducers and it makes everything way easier to deal with and a hell of a lot cleaner.

Get a clean cut on the wire so that it doesnt flare out. I use to always think the same thing. Clean cuts you can squeeze the wire together and make it pretty compact.
