How do you install a Line Out Converter?

Sup people, I wanted to use a Line Out Converter for my new car, anyway I was just curious since I never used one before how do you hook it up?

Can u just splice the rear 6x9 wires and tap off of that to my amp to run my L5's or how?

Yes, you run the speaker wires to the LOC, and then the RCA's to the amp.

so if i slice my 6x9 speaker wire, run half of that into the LOC and the other half back into the 6x9 i'll be okay???????????

No...

The LOC has stereo inputs. There is a left + and - as well as a right + and -.

All I usually do is to connect both inputs of the LOC to the same speaker wire. Just paralell them basically.
