how do you hook up a capactor???

when i get a capactor for my system, how do i hook it up? does it need to having breathing air cuz i'm thiinking about putting it behind a panel at the back seat. under where the arm rest are. there will be plenty of room but i don't know if much air will go under there.

now to a full farad capactor, you need to have to up 1000rms watts or just 1000 watts?

it should be as close to the amp as posible BUT it isn't going to hurt it if it is sealed up. you don't need a 1000watt amp to run a 1 farad cap. It is just a rating system
