How do these subs look ?

My dad had these laying around and he said he never used them and i was thinking about hooking them up to the back of my trunk.

Now my question to you guys is how big do you think these speakers are and do you think they will provide alot of bass ?

The car i have is a 2002 Kia Optima

Im pretty new with sound systems so im clueless on how big these speakers are and if they're any good

puny house speaker knock offs. buy focas 18. u may be happy with them tell u put them in, but once u hear them u will be disappointed.

Try them out see how they go. They are likely a cheap brand that won't sound that great. Could be an old becker box, but more than likely just an older 90's brand that won't provide a lot of output.

That looks very old. Odds are more than 200W will break it. Give it a whirl, that's the kind of thing many folks used to be happy with.

looks like 2 8" subs in a full range box. should be about 100w rms and should be loud as its a full range box. not a lot of bass but should be overall loud. not powerful but loud.

My boy is pulling a mid 140 on term with 1 18 in a cobra vert ??? Think outside the box my friend. I was just joking with him being funny. But I do have a stereo integerty 18 for sale lol. But by all means hook them up and see how you like them.

op, I have a feeling a good 10, 12, or 15 inch sub in a ported or bandpass box that can take 500 watts is going to be far more satisfactory than that speaker box.

Depends on the 12, the box its in, the power on it and the vehicle. Sound pressure is not a binary proposition.

Try what you already have and if it's what you like then good. If not, then you can start looking for what is. ;-)

This is probably the best advice on here so far. Being new to it all, it's gonna be one of those things where you just have to try it out and see.

Just hpok them up and see how you like them before buying anything else. Thats the simple and correct choice

full range boxes were nice in the 80's-90's, early 00's. not so much now with today's crowd. hook them up. will be loud but not huge bass.
