How do RL-P's compare to W6v2's?

Well I am still deciding on which subs to get and I really don't want to buy a set of subs that I will regret so.. I've polled 3 rl-i8's vs 2 12" rl-p's and the outcome was for the rl-p's. Now I want to hear what people have to say on 2 12" RL-p's Vs 2 12" JL w6v2's.

well since i have had both of these systems within the last 90 days...my vote is for RL-P's FTW!!

ahaha sweet. leaning to the RL-P's. 1400 going to both or 1400 going to each? @ 2 ohms or 1?

1400 for both Autotek Mean Machine 1400.1@1ohm i will say this...if you decide to get the rl-p's , allow plenty of time to get the suspension loosened up before you really beat on them. It took me a few days to get mine loosened up

ahh ic.. I'm gonna be using a MD2 how do you think it will do? rated 1500x1 @ 1 ohm.

were the 12w6v2 and the rl-p's in the same box? same power? was the enclosure optimal for the w6v2s or the rl-p, air space wise. if ported was the the enclosure tuned too? because if their in different boxes then its kinda hard to judge imo

the answer is yes...... the W6's were in their optimum box as were the rl-p's then i built a bigger box for the W6's...same result. the only difference was the W6's were tuned to 35 the rl-p's at 32.

only becuz u can put 1000 watts on it and it will take it all day long

this is good news, i was deciding between the two, SS has AWESOME customer service. I wish they had more blank ones, I like that clean look
