How do i turn off internal amplifier?

i had a kenwood that gave me the option to turn the internal amp off.. i had to turn the headunit off, with the ignition still engaged mind u.. basically so u can still see the clock.. then held "menu" or "audio" for a few seconds.. can't recall exactly.. but it was the same drop down menu as selecting the speaker sizes... and scrolled down until it had the option "internal amp on/off"...

i know u can turn the sub off by holding down on the right control knob/stick thing

It's a great Headunit. I wish Rockford would spend the time and effort on head units and eq's again. The Rockford 8250 and the Symmetry II are still some of the best pieces of equipment out there.

i'm waiting for my 9887 is it possible to keep 2 of the channels on for the rear deck and shut the other two off for the door speakers?
Nope, for the 9887 (I own this HU) you either set Power IC to on or off.
