My left speaker has been messed up for wuite some time so ive had both fronts out for a while and just been running my tweeters in the front and 6x9s in the rear. it doesnt sound that bad but its clearly missing those speakers up front.

I dont have an amp but i want to rewire the doors and rears with some much better wire then the factory. im more worried about the fronts first but im not sure how to rewire exactly. i know how to connect to the speakers of course but where do i run the wire to on the head unit? it seems like it would defeat the purpose if i just connect to the tiny wires coming out of the harness wouldnt it? also how in the hell am i supposed to fit these wires through that tiny waterproofing hose thing between the door and the car!

i drive a 6th gen accord sedan //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

You run the speaker wire to whats marked on your hu wire, usually the hu wire will say left front + or left front -, if its not marked search online for your hu wiring diagram and that will tell you what wires are for what speakers.

so i just splice it to the ~6 inch wires coming out of the head unit?

Yeah, but be sure its the right wire for example for your right front speaker, make sure you run the wire from the wire on ur head unit marked right front speaker + and right front speaker-
