Help me figure this out:
Today I swapped out my 300/4v2 for a Zapco 1000.4. BUT before I started I disconnected all power to the trunk by removing the Main power wire fuse. I connected the Zapco with the Symbilink transmitter. I am only using 2 of the 4 channels to run my front comps. I set the transmitter to 0db and had the amp gain all the way down. After double checking and triple checking the connections I reinstalled the fuse. Then I went to start my car, you know the moment when you are 1 key turn away from hearing your new gear. I was excited. (I never started the car at any time during install) So, I turn the key to IGN, only to be greeted with a strange constant thumping through the subs. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif
I then turned the car off and disconnected the Symbilink transmitter and the remote for the Zapco
Still noise!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif
I then turned the car off again and just reconnected the Zapco
Still noise:verymad: So I went ahead and started the car.....
ONLY TO HEAR THE DREADED PIONEER NOISE PROBLEM!!!!!!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif:verymad://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif
I then bypassed the HU by plugging the Symbilink transmitter directly into my ipod and started the car, no noise.
So what caused the rca problem this time, IDK where I went wrong!
BTW, my last Pioneer did this too, by that was my fault.
