Wants a button like that.
I have a 2002 Avalanche and fully deadener all 4 doors, and just installed my components today.
First, get some Second Skin Damplifier Pro. A bulk pack is what it should take to deaden both doors enough. I have 1.5 bulk packs per front door, then about 20 SPL tiles in each, then spray on deadener on top of that. Seal all the holes, so that the only holes are the ones for the door clip. Make sure to deaden both outer and inner door skins, and especially behind the speaker itself.
Then get a nice component set and a nice amp for them. I went with the Hertz HSK 165s and an MB Quart DSC2150 because Ive owned and used them both before and they rock. Ill be using a Pioneer 880PRS, because if you start with a crappy signal, or a signal that isnt up to par, you will hear it from your speakers. Alot of the sound is the prep to your doors and giving them a good environment to make good sound. Without good deadening and sealed doors, they wont sound like they should.
Heres what mine look like. Our doors should look similar, if not the same. This is what a rock solid deadener door looks like.
