wouldnt the rubberized CA glue (black) work better for rubber to metal? in my experiences it will since it doesnt cure as hard as the clear stuff and can flex some more without the bond breaking loose

..ok had to crack that one....anyways, that was a common problem at one time.

Don't use the BSI rubber toughened unless you plan on throwing the bottle away after you use it since it literally has zero shelf life once you've opened it up. And you WILL need the Accelerator with it, or you'll be waiting a freakn week for it to dry properly.

My suggestion - Use the BSI Ic-2000 Maxi cure (in a pink label bottle) with the Instaset accelerator. That's all I use these days for all of the recones I do. I won't touch the Toughend Rubber (black) glue anymore.

do you know if this is something that can be found at a hobby store? Or is this somethng that has to be ordered online? Just asking, I'll be swinging by one on the way home.

Most hobby stores carry BSI, especially if they do alot of r/c car racing.
