How do I figure out what options my car has?

Well I just bought new tires and am trying to figure out the cheapest place to get them put on. Only problem is that TPMS is an option on my car and I don't know if I have it (I'm the second owner and it didn't come with the original info). Prices vary depending on whether or not the car has TPMS, so I need to find out.

So all this got me thinking about whether there was a way to look up the VIN and see what options the car came with. I could just let the air out of a tire to test for this particular issue, but I would rather not if there is an easier way.

or just use worst case scenario and treat it as though it has it
It really isn't that big of a deal in this instance. It's like an extra $5 a tire if I have it. I was just curious because I've thought about this on other occasions

Well I just figured out I don't have it. Cars with TPMS have metal valve stems instead of rubber and it was paired with the HID option for the year my car was made. Thank god for car-specific forums.

And I feel good about myself because I used the search button there and actually got results.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
