How do i enable subwoofer output on Pioneer HU?

Got a question guys...in the manual it says you can enable Subwoofer output by pressing the AUDIO button. I have pressed the Audio button and held it ....two different menus...but it doesn't take mo the "SUB.W" feature on my pioneer head unit.

I have a pioneer DEH-P4400 and tonight, when i was driving, i noticed that there was a feature imprinted on the background LCD that shows a picture of a subwoofer and the letters "S/W" under it. Immediately, I knew this meant "subwoofer" ...and unfortunately, this feature was not "lit" up or "light" up like features like "LOUD".

Anyone know how to enable it?

You may have to turn the unit completely off. Usually that means hold the source button until it goes off. Then you hold the 'function' key until the radio comes back on again. Then you keep hitting 'function' or maybe 'audio' if yours doesn't have a function key and go until you get to 'subwoofer'. hit the audio key until the subwoofer menu comes up and then you will have to push either up or down to turn it to on
