I'm building a box for my E8's. One sub will be on the front the other on top and the magnets are only about two inches apart. The pole vents are not obstructed, so will this matter?
I beleive it does not matter. Don't quote me though. I have seen sealed boxes with 2 subs side by side with not even 1inch inbetween them. The magnets must be at least 5 inches apart and it didn't make a difference.
Again I don't think it matters but we'll see what other peeps have to say.
it might cause a deflection of the pole vent, misagligning the ohm-responses between the subwoofers causing an inconsistent final load at the amplifier, which would also effect your voltage.
