how can i stop my rear view mirror from vibrating/rattling ???

whenever bass hits it stars to come down on every beat it hits but whats more annoying is it makes this ugly sound too wheneever bass hits..i hear that sound from somewhere near the front of the dashboard..i dont know if its something to do with my dashboard or windshield (could it be loose or something ? ) BUT when i hold the mirror it goes away and everythign sounds normal..is there any fix to that ?? The minor mirror shaking is not the problem but the ugly sound it makes when the beat comes ,ruins the whole sound quality Its a 2010 mazda 3 hactback by the way

You have to take the mirror off. Undo the set screw and slide the mirror up and off the metal clip adhered to the windsheid. If you try tightening it, the clip itself will take all of the shock and end up falling off.

Get it where you want and put a little super glue on the joints. It wont stop the shaking but it won't keep falling down

O even better turn the radio down. The mirror wont stop shaking you can stop it from falling with glue but that's it.

i took a hot needle and jammed it through all the joints, in multiple places, although it is hard to adjust it dosn't face down anymore.

put duct tape all around it. Then get some expanding foam and stick the nozzle inside the duct tape and let 'er fly. Wait 30 minutes... done.
