Yea that'll work too. Its really hard to say though. You say you have the remote knobs right? And they all run on wire thats connected through 3.5mm jacks? If so I wouldn't see why if its all running on 3.5mm connections how introducing a y-adapter wouldnt split the signal.
Just to see if you can save some money at first, I say you go down to a local radio shack and buy a y splitter like I showed you and test to see if it works. If it doesnt, the way subzeros suggustion works is you'll just have take out the rca connections from the back of the HU, run a short rca to the PAC LC-1 knob he suggested, and reconnect the long rca cable to the knob that goes to the amp. The only thing is if you already have at least one of your OEM remote knobs I dont see why you should pay more on a new knob and short rca cable when a cheap Y adapter might work.
