HOw are the excelon amps

Hey guys I just have a quick question for you guys. I am searching for an amp for m bro for x-mas. I have checked out the Kenwood excelon KAC-X811D and it says it puts out 1000 watts RMS @ 1ohm mono. WHat do you guys think is it overrated or puts out what it says. It will be powering 2 10L7's in a ported box. I found it online for $229. what do you guys think. Plus he has the excelon stereo and it works great but i am not to sure on their amps.

I dunno how much they've changed but I from the ones I have seen, I wouldnt buy one.

I have the X-811d.. Good amp for the money.. They are actually SLIGHTLY underrated.. Mine puts out around 1020 @ 1 ohm and a little over 900 @ 2 ohms.. It will overheat occassionally if you play it REALLY hard and go into protect for like 5 seconds, but it comes right back on.. If you set your gains right it shouldn't overheat at all though..

I like mine.
