how are MTX thunder series subs?

The amp provides 1500rms @1ohm...
9500's come in single 4ohm and dual 4ohm.

So, if it's a dual 4ohm woofer, wired in parallel to 2ohms... you won't be getting a full 1500watts.

ya its a dual four. its rated for 1000 watts RMS and the amp is at 1000 RMS at 2 ohm. that's the only problem because if i get one i'm going to want another one so that amp would not be sufficient for my needs at that point. but the guy will not split it up. i might just get it and and sell the amp and pick up another 9500 and then amp that will put out 2000+

 
Pick up the guy's 92001 he mentioned, hell of a deal and a perfect match.

I've done DOZENS of those setups... pair of 9500 15's and either a 92001 or a TE4001
