how are MTX thunder series subs?

im looking at my next set up and ive found a MTX 9500 for sale local. its rated for 1000 watts RMS. they guy also has an MTX amp te1501D. right now i have 2 12 inch CVRs off of 900 watts. so how are these subs can they handle allot of power? and they more for getting loud or sound quality? what you guys think of MTX subs. thanks.

i used to have one of those. te1501 is perfect power in my opinion. i would say go for it if you like loud but dont want that much sq.

ya im looking more for loudness than sq. if i get it im probably going to build a different box for it. the box it is in is kinda small. ive never delt with a single sub before. how do you guys think this will sound compared to 2 12 inch CVRs off of 900 watts. would the more cone area of the CVRs make them louder than this singe 9500 12 off of 1000 watts?
