How are Hifonics?

Ok so it looks like the Hifonics wouldnt be the best but good enough for what im looking for. I could get a Alpine MPR-2000 for 350 but then id be running the sundowns on 1000w a piece, idk if they would like that so much lol. Ive also found a soundstream on ebay for 350 or so, that would get me 1500w range at 2ohms. I cant go lower than 2ohms though. Dont have the electrical to do that

you will be fine running 1k unclipped to each sub

yup.. we burp SA12's on 4-6kw.. daily on 2-2.5 but ideally 1-1.2kw is perfect for them...

Both of my BRZ 2100.1D's do over their 2 ohm rating at just over 2 ohms. (box rise/ D1 coil sub) I have been running just one in the truck now for quite a while with 0 issues. I miss having them both in there.....once I get done moving, it will be going back in.

FIY, I have very good electrical in the truck so I am sure that helps quite a bit.

electrical is key anytime ur over 1200-1500 rms...

well i have a good ground and everything, and some great 4gauge wire for power. How would that hold up for a 1500-2000w rms?

And what i dont understand is that, if these things are capable of receiving 1000+ wattage, why dont they advertise them as that instead of 600?
