HOT woofer surronds!

i rebuilt a 10 and instead of the normal 1.5" wider foam surrond i used a 1" half roll(cause i have a bunch of them and just beating this sub). i was burping with 3k and the surrond it hot to the touch, the dustcap and cone were cold. it limited my dbs to 42.8. just thought i would share never heated a surrond up b4,lol...

Yeah, my thought would be that the pivoting joints of the surround would give.
