hooking up amps to each sub.

Some amplifiers can be strapped to make it like 1 amplifier. Some amplfiers come with a input and output RCAs so u can just run 1 pair of RCAs from the HU to the amplifier than use the output RCA slot on the amplifier to run RCAS to the 2nd amp. It all depends on what amplifiers are in question. Or u can get RCA splittiers and split the RCAs from the HU into 2 pairs, 1 for each amp

when connecting two amps together in the way you just mention...RCA's from deck to INPUT of one amp, then OUTPUT of same amp into the INPUT of the second amp.

do you need a Signal booster? some one told me that when doing that the signal gets cut down so much that you need a "booster". I called BS but i could be wrong. thats why im asking CA.com
