If some one did this :thumbsupw //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/satan.gif.9c6a335ed7aeeed3ee273e573f1fcaac.gif

Now think about this your outlet has 120v and has a frequency of 60Hz. If you were to tune your ports to 60Hz it would be //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/help.gif.cee8f684da1ba626487a8bc51152e1ec.gif loud!!!

Lets say you hook up 2 12's that have dual 4 ohm voice coils and wire your total out put to 4 ohms wouldn't there be 3,600W pounding through your subs or I should say buzzing.

Someone should try this and post pics of this, get those Logic subs from cardiscountstereos.com and hook them up to the outlet. they are rated at 2000w rms and 4000w max. There Dual 4 ohm and if you hook up two of them they should be pushing 3600w through both of them.

ummmm....it's been done plenty of times. I've done it with a $19 sony sub...burn, burn, burn, smelly burnt coil, KABOOM!!! hahaha, yeah....usually the outlet is reserved for sub u don't want any more. OR, for really really well built...high power handling subs that can even take it for a few seconds free-air. I know for a fact, a 12" magnum d2 (my sub) can take it...it's been done, just not by me. AND, think of foreign wall sockets (220v) hehe, tons of powa!!! peace

We used to do that to subs at a shop i worked at for "warranty" when they weren't completely blown. The record holder was an Eclipse aluminum 12...Lasted 3 full minutes with both voice coils plugged in....Now THATS build quality!
