how do you hook the amp up the the speakers what all do i have to do and what tools do i need if i dont have one of those red and black square wire terminals this is what i have

1 Pioneer Premier GM-7150M

power mono amplifier with 800 watts max. power

2 Pioneer Premier TS-W106C

10" 800w 4-ohm subwoofers

just hook the wire to the amp, then run it to ur subs, its gonna lower ur sound with havin a cord hole.... just drop the 5 bucks on 2 terminals its cheap

whats the impedence on your subs? (the ohm config.) I assume both are single 4 ohm, and if you connect both directly to the amp, itll be a 2 ohm load, so itll drive 180 RMS to each sub, you'll be fine.

and no you dont need a soldiering iron

edit: i see that those subs can handle 350 watts a piece, meaning you could use a much bigger amp. Try to find an amp that puts out a true 6-700 watts @ 2 ohms. Check out the Phoenix gold Xenon 600.1 on ebay for like 120 shipped i think it was

It will only "lower his sound" if he doesn't properly seal the hole after running the speaker cable(s) through it. If it is sealed well then it won't make any difference.

ok i will, but i have a mono amp is it possible to hook it up to two subs
its this amp

and i dont have to use a sodderring iron or anything like that do i?
You'll simply put both sets of wires into the appropriate terminals. There are heaps of folks who run multiple subs off of a single monoblock amplifier (or even people such as me who run a single dual voicecoil sub which in terms of hooking it up works out the same as running two single voicecoil subs)

For this particular endeavor I cannot see the need for a soldering iron (can't anyone spell this correctly?)

ya i am getting an another one of those amps later, i think i like wiring option two on the rockfosgate website, it looks easier, ok i have another question, what do i do to the wires before i put them in the subs? do i use a wire stripper and then jsut poke it in the hole and would it still stay in? and whgat do i do to the wires that connect to the amp? i bought this wire kit http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=14314 what do i use in it to hook up the speakers, i am having the amp installed because i cant figure out my dash board i spent like 3 hours on it
