honda head unit install help

my freind has a 98 honda civic ex and im trying to help him install a new cd player but when i started to look at it i cant figure out how to install it the old radio wasint even held in place it just pulled so if you have any pictures or something that would help alot

i guess looks like theres a place for a cd changer down by the cup holders i plan on makeing a pocket so he can put stuff there looks real bad with a big open spot down there

well i did get it installed if you can call it that its just sitting in there not attached well it works fine and is way better than just a radio

That might be the most overstated comment of the day. There are FAR more complicated cars than honda's. I would say Honda's are generally easier than most cars out there.

the best way to get to the radio is to remove the center console, install the sleeve and whatever else, then put it back together.

VOILA! easy as cake!

98s required the factory head to remain connected but shoved behind the dash..
