clutches boost your torge and grips better on the street to make it run faster and i helps....alot
Yeah, you're gonna have to show me how the clutch has anything to do with increasing grip. Let alone boosts your torque? Do you mean you get more to the ground, or literally increases the performance of your engine? Either way, //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

**** yall hatin honduz. I got racin clutch that makes my tirez h00k up betta thun jon force.
now if you had slicks.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif . but seriously, it sounds like civic si is spouting off stuff he has heard, and has confused himself, or he lacks the english to convey what he means. a high torque clutch will help at the track with slicks, due to no clutch slipage. it will however not give you any gains in the hp or tq dept on a dyno. now if you went to an aluminum flywheel/light weight clutch you may see gains. mostly in your times.

A flywheel MAY, and that's a stretch too. I wouldn't bank on that, all it's really used for (not flywheels in general, lighter weight ones I mean) is quickening throttle response and revs. Like you said, it should help in your times, but you don't consider that a "bolt on".

a lightened flywheel does remove spinning mass, which theoretically frees more power. but whatever. anything that makes my vehicle freer revving is fine with me.
Like I said, it may give you some power gains because less power is wasted on spinning it, but you don't replace your flywheel to gain power or torque.
