A flywheel MAY, and that's a stretch too. I wouldn't bank on that, all it's really used for (not flywheels in general, lighter weight ones I mean) is quickening throttle response and revs. Like you said, it should help in your times, but you don't consider that a "bolt on".

yup. not a "bolt on", unless you actually know cars.

for me, i consider a clutch a "bolt on". and yes in most cases a light flywheel does not show a hp or tq gain on a dyno, but on the track it sure can make a dif.

I don't much like the new Si. I've driven a 4dr and 2dr, and I don't like either. The main problem is the interior: it's horrible. The seats are tight, but the handbrake looks like one of the handles on an airline raft, the speedometer broadcasts your speed in bright red letters to anyone who's curious, the steering wheel looks like a ****ing beetle, and most importantly, the steering is so ******* light that you can't tell how much input you're going to give it until you do a 180. Clutch is far too light as well, but the brakes are PHENOMENAL. Some of the best ever on a hot "hatch".

I used to drive a 99 ex and I loved that car.
