Thats all you would need. Alot of shops use these and would definetly supply enoguh current for your particular amp.

But using a AT PC powersupply might work as well.....

a computer power supply would sure work! i had a pioneer headunit hooked up to it. i used the decks' internal amp to power my speakers. max draw on that headunit was about 8A then the preouts would hook up to the plate amp (available at partsexpress) to run my sub

You can get a tripp-lite PR40 for less than what that 12A unit is going for.

PR40 does 32 amps continuous with under .1V of ripple - I own two of them personally.

Cost you about 160 shipped if you find the right store...

Prices start as low as 130 + shipping...

They are workhorses, I don't think you'll regret the decision. They are very well built and the regulation works like a charm.
