I have this idea for making some enclosures for home theater woofers, but my dilema is what would be the best type of box for a theater sub. I was thinking of a basic ported box but not sure of what tuning or cu.ft. i would use to get it to sound right. i know this isnt home thater forum but i didnt want to go find a good forum.

Ported tuned low is what's generally done. But some high end subs are actually sealed. Tuning would probably be in the mid to high 20's if its for HT and not just in house music. I would PM PV Audio for more info as he's building an HT now.
