Home power outlets "Ground loop noise"?

I have my laptop plugged in obviously...then out my headphone jack to the RCAs (converted through some y connectors and such...)and everytime I unplug my laptop the buzzing goes away, yet when it's plugged in (tried 5 different outlets) it buzzes. Anything I can do to make it stop? It's annoying //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. Also I have no bass..but I don't know why. Works fine playing 360!

use a ground lift on the stereo plug.

use a ground lift on the stereo plug.

This might fix it. But, the best thing to do is use an isolation transformer unit.
