just a little up date.. will do a new thread with before & after pics.
basicly in the past 5 month's i have torn out old wall's, nasty dirty stanky dry wall, and plenty of incounter's[/b] with " death dust" and got all the old nast stuff out of the basement.

i have freamed off my basement from my garage, insulated the walls, built a landing for the bottom of the stair's, ran all new electrical, plug's light's, switches, 220v line for dry ect ect

installed heat and a/c, duct work ect ect..

once i find my before pics of the basement i'll post everything up to show you the before & after, and what a man can do with some 2x4's some nails and a little trial and error....

Good job man, shit looks really good, redoing the ceiling is a must and is fun...NOT...I did that to my place and it was a ***** to do and very very messy...But it made the house look allot better...

The kitchen will be spendy, I didn't have the money to replace the cabinets/countertops because i replaced the old carpet with tile and new carpet, so i just primered and painted them white, replaced all the brass hinges and knobs with chrome pieces and called it a day...just doing that will make the kitchen look a ton better...Then add some SS appliances and bang, your shit will look sweet and on the cheap...

gunna pull the old cabnet's table tops and hanging cabnet's out, tile the kitchen, hallway, and bathroom. then carpet the bed room's.

my buddy mel dose granit countertops and once i get the tile and cabnet's in he is gunna hook it up with the counter tops.

i get appliences at cost threw my work so yes all new SS appliences.

but right now i am all about finishing off the garage, and wall between the garage and the basement, just have to finish insulateing the cealing in the garage and down stair's

we spent the last 3 month's running all new service in the house new curcit breaker, all new wire's in the house..

you will see..
