I just got my amp kit.....and im REALLY confused

ok were do i start

Its a 2awg Kit

I Know what the Big Thick Red Wire and black shiilding and Black Ground wire do

I know what the copper speaker wire does but i dont need it

I know what the RCA does but im alitle confused...what is the little black wire comming out of the middle of it do?

Im guessing the Tiny blue wire is remote wire

Then it gets more confusing.....

Theres 4 wierd ...blocky things.....haha ne1's ....1 is a distro block and 2 look like their fuses....1 says 80amp and the other has 2 little tubies.....then theirs a big brass thing that has a loopy thing sum screw down terminals and a + sing

what do i do with those last 4 things....well last 3 things..i know what the distro does.....and i know you what your thinking....i prolly should be doing this install my self...but i think i can...and i know what they do....its just the 2 fuse things REALLY confuses me

if this makes sense plz help...ima try to take pics later to help explain

with the 2 fuse things are there inputs for wires? big ones for 2 ga wire? if so this is prolly the fuse under the hood? for the power wire, if not they the 80 amp fuse holder goes under the hood

Yeah....one of has 2 2gauge imputs and the other looks likes its a fused distro block....so the 2 big 1 goes under the hood....but what does the other 1 do.....

and which distro should i use.....and what does the Big Bras clampy do with 2 2gauge imputs and 2 smaller wire imputs do?

ya the 80 amp is the fuse block under the hood and the two tubular things also sound like fuses. Also the little wire in the middle of your RCA's is another remote wire that you can run if u dont want to run the other one

here we go;

fuseholder.jpg

top to bottom;

inline AGU fuse holder - this goes within 18" of the battery on the + 2guage power wire

AGU fuse - this goes into the fuse holder under the hood, or in a fused distrobution block

ANL fuse holder - this is the same as the inline AGU holder, but holds ANL fuses

ANL fuse - can hold WAY more amperage than ATC\AGU fuses

this is a DISTROBUTION BLOCK that has places for AGU fuses in it

you need to have a fuse on ANY POSATIVE POWER WIRE WITHIN 18" OF ITS SOURCE! if its shorter - than ya dont need a fuse.

the wire in the middle of the RCAs, as bump'n said, is a remote wire. its there for convience. hook it up to the back of the deck, and then strip it, and hook it to the REM terminal on the amp. this reduces the amount of wire you gotta run - as its included.

this is a 80 amp ATC fuse - the kind thats prolly stuck in the side of your amplifier. and in the fuse box in every car, not to mention other places.

now remember. fuses protect the wire the are in line with, or the circutry of your equipment. the inexpensive fuses will break before the wire\amp\equipment melts. you need to use the correct size fuse for your application, and im posative that 2awg wire can handle way more than 80 amps.

that last thing you said "a brass thing with some loopy stuff and some screw terminals" i have no idea what this is.

maybe take a picture?

hope that helps.
