My simple my one sided point of view on this matter is, Muslims should be watched and monitored closely.

They do not play by the same rules we, the rest of the world do.

Sounds paranoid but any Religion that teaches, to convert or die by the sword, should be delt with.

I don't believe Islam is nothing but nice, nor do I believe that Christianity or Judaism are nothing but nice. The fact of the matter is that you took quotes out of context, I was just filling in some blanks. Islam is not the only religion that was spread by the sword, in fact, every religion derived from the teachings of Abraham (Christianity / Judaism / Islam) has, at one point, forced its beliefs on others. Saying that all Muslims should be watched is like saying all African-Americans (or negroes the way you probably see it) should be monitored because they are all criminals.

For every quote you pull out of the Qur'an that is bad, I call pull another that is the exact opposite. The same goes for the Bible and the Torah, you know why?...because they are all based on the same events, teachings, books, and prophets.

The first step to peace is realizing that it is ok for people to be different. They don't want western ideals and democracy just as much as we dont want an Islamic-run state. Now, I dont know about you, but I haven't ever heard of a middle eastern country invading the west and forcing its beliefs there in at least the past couple hundred of years; however, recent history notes the U.S. of such actions even within the past 10 years. This time its not racism, its patriotism, or blind-patriotism I should say.

The Muslims had their chance like you said hundreds of years ago to develope into a super power/empire/dynasty etc.. Europe didn't want any of that, so after years and years they finally kicked the invaders out..

Currently the United States is the hedgemon. We rule the world, plain and simple. We have the money and a military so we have the power. The world is simply put, ours. Don't like the idea? Go live somewhere else.. Like Canada.

This is our time. The rest of the world has had their chance to rule or conquer or do whatever. and there time has expired..

In 600 Years America my not exsist, oh well. However, America has one of the oldest goverments in place and it is only 200+ years old, which isnt very old, and that demonstrates the every changing world.

The iron is too hot right now and we need to strike and strike again..

Learn from the Russians, Germans, and Japanese, they tried to be Empires along side us, but like Highlander says, "there can be only one."

So let me get this straight, you are saying that Islam was wrong for invading hundreds of years ago, yet it is ok for the U.S. to do it now? Look at what has happened in response to empires who have fallen, they became enslaved if they were not slaughtered. I'm just wating for this to happen to us. We have been invading for years and years, butting into everyones business...its just that now others have the power to fight back. Keeps us on our toes.

And I am working on getting out of this country, just give it some time...lol.

Wars bring technology.

Why do you think the most advanced nations are advanced? Because their Empires fought wars were new technology always needed to be developed.

China, Africa and South America are great examples of people that generally did not have dictators that wanted to rule the world.. They will fight among themselvs in a heart beat, not others..

and personally if we lived in 14 A.D. or whatever there wouldnt be any subwoofers or internet ****.. So thank you, USA govt. for kicking *** and developing the internet..
