Yes and no, even though they are our ali, we have no control over there security, and there defense , so eventhough it hurts to see them get attacked our government can't be there every minute to protect them. Now i dont agree with everything that bush has to say, but i do have to agree that ever since the twin towers were attacked nothing to serious has happen here (knocks on wood) so i guess that he has in some way kept us safe??

has any leader in the middle east had any problems with tony blair's father? then he could do what bush did and go on a witch hunt for the guy who picked on his papa because he has the country in a panic even though he has no weapons and no connections to the attacks. we'll also stay their for 5 years now, and not get the real terroist. we'll make up the excuse that we can't find bin laden even though we managed to go into irag and found sadamm who has literally hiding in a hole in the ground. we'll also create more enemies worldwide. we'll neglect domestic issues and become the first president since herbert hoover in the late 20's, who i might add started the great depression, to loose more jobs then he gained, but you say everybody goes through recession, even though bush has been in office 5 years and the ressecion has lasted 5 years, and we even had a budget surplus when clinton left office but we are now faced with a budget deficit, rising unemployment, and fewer jobs then expected. did i also mention that in 4 years no one has been arrested in connection with the 911 attacks but good gracias we have got sadamm who had nothing to with the attacks, and we are safer even though every country is pissed at us and the terroists are still free. we also got such a good moral president even though he is the only convicted felon ever in office and went awol while in the national guards. i'm sorry my rant is over now.

They are doing what I hope everyone in the US would do, protecting their country. ok if you know, who has been arrested in connection with 911 attacks? bush admitted himslef to barbara walters on 20/20 there were no weapons in iraq. during the last election it was a fact more jobs were lost then gained. it is fact bush is a convicted criminal.

No, Hoover never started the Great Depression. If anyone, it was Coolidge and the American people (mass spending and buying stock on margin was not the greatest of ideas). Hoover was just left with the blame because he was President at the time. In fact, the series of events leading to the Depression happened way before Hoover was in office.
