Holiday Donation Drive - WITH PRIZES! - (details within)

Everyone looked past my suggestions for charitable organizations. If you still are interested in donating to two extremely good charities which my personal business suppports visit http://www.mercycorps.org and http://www.secondharvest.org Both of these companies are ranked as the most efficient charities. at least 90% or more of the dollar goes to the intended recipients and is not lost in administrative and advertising costs, etc.

Sorry no donation from me, my company is already non-profit!!

Hey Effendi. Just wanted to let you know I certainly did not overlook your suggestions. In fact, I would have preferred using them if it wasn't for the large voiced support for the Make-A-Wish foundation. While their 77% effeciency rate isn't as high as the two you suggested, it seems that overall, more of the people who would actually consider donating would be more comfortable donating to a charity which they already know about, hence why I choose to direct this raffle towards the Make-A-Wish International foundation. I figured that due to its increased popularity and expressed interest, the potential amount of donations would be greater with it as opposed to the two you mentioned.
Maybe next year..

You havent heard about them for reasons which I explained. (Low advertising budgets) I even posted links to their websites. Does anyone actually care what Make-A-Wish foundation does with the money??? When it comes to charitable giving I have my own reservations which I wont express for the sake of harmony. I just dont like throwing money away...not that anyone who is supporting the Make-A-Wish foundation is...but I am surprised no one said anything about the charities I suggested. Good luck to all.
Happy holidays.

We have already decided in supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Maybe next year like SoundSplinter said.

Keep the donations coming! Lets crack the $1000 mark.

Mine's going in the mail tomorrow - Plenty of time to reach Michael by the 1st.

I'm donating very little, but it's what I can afford. If everyone would do the same...

$5-10 bucks is $5-10 bucks... But if 500 people... Think about it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Hey req,

I'll get a total out later today. In fact, I'm just going to make an entirely new thread with the updated prize and ticket list, since it doesn't seem I will be able to update the initial posts in this thead, even with the mod's help. Gotta go ship out some drivers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif and do some last minute holiday shopping //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif but I'll get the updates up by tonight. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

We broke the 3/4 mark to our unofficial goal of $1000! Up to $775 and some change right now. I made a new thread to reflect an updated sponsors and prize list, so if a mod could unstickify this thread and stickify the new one, it would be much appreciated!
