hold me over sub...

the 15 farter I have right now is worse then my *** after taco bell's burritos.....

I was looking for a budget sub to hold me over/sell with the truck....

I was looking at the MAW15" and the MJ-18, both from Mach5 Audio... I'm leaning twards the MJ-18 cause it's an 18 plus it has 600W RMS instead of 500W. but the MAW 15" has dual voice coils....

I'll be getting 4 either way to wire that crappy *** lanzar to them to get some power...

crappy amp but still over powered for the sub. will be using a multimeter to get the RMS right....

opinions?

so you are gonna put either 4 15's or 4 18's in your truck just to sell it? if your looking for a system to sell the truck with, by a couple tc sounds db500 12" and build a box for them and those will do you good.

well i would say the 15 since you could wire it down to 2 ohms and that would put some more power to it.

well.... either way it's 500W.... the amp I have does roughly 950 at 4 ohm and like 1000 at 2 ohm... but at 2 ohm it can only use one channel instead of bridging it.

alright, well knowing that, i would run the 18

i wouldnt be the one to ask about that, i wouldnt know for those drivers, go with what they recommend and youll be fine
