I only got about 900 watts between my subs and comps. I did 2/3 of the big 3 in 1 gauge. I didn't complete the chassis to engine block because the crimp came loose when installing it, but it seems like 900 watts shouldn't be enough to cause dimming with a 180A alternator. It is not major, just slight enough for me to notice. Is there anything elsse i should check?

i agree it sounds like you deffinately should not have dimming but, are you still running your stock battery?if so try getting a larger/faster discharging one. i'd complete the big 3. if all else fails THEN you may be a prime candidate for a capacitor.

Did you switch the pulleys on the iraggi and the oem one??

I don't think he needs a battery... if the amp can produce it the battery shouldn't be touched... I'd finish the big 3 and switch the pulley if it wasn't... then start looking at other things..

No dont switch the pulley unless you already did so, Dom put that pulley on for a reason, my guess is that the pulley on the iraggi alty is smaller than the factory one like mine. Thats so the alty can spin faster. If you switched the pulleys than your ride isnt getting the amps it needs.

but even while driving and the RPM's over 2000, I still get the slight dim. If it was the pulley wouldn't it only dim when at idle when it was spinning fast enough to turn on?

i have a 200a alt with a blue top and regular battery and i run 2500rms+ easy with no dimming

you should runn 900 without a sweat, my stock battery and alt would run 900 without dimming, what kind of car is it?

if al else fails, lights are overrated anyway just turn them off and no dimming
